Global CDS Project Specialist

Role Objectives

Responsible for project and implementation management of Global, Regional and Country-specific Global CDS technology projects. Works as a functional coordinator on larger scale projects as dictated by the matrix of the individual projects and Scope and leads mid-range complexity projects.

  • Responsibility for project planning and execution
  • Responsibility for communication needs identification, delivery to Project Manager and execution of reconciled communication measures
  • Responsibility for project status reporting
  • Responsibility for assigned project tasks

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Capable of Leading mid-range complex projects
  • Executes Implementation tasks
  • Facilitate Customer requirements sessions and documentation sign off with Account Management and BCD resource
  • Capable of coordination as sub project leader on high complexity projects
  • Execution of project tasks in time and quality based on project scope provided by Project Manager
  • Structured preparation of decisions
  • Presentation of alternative solutions for project
  • Manage and tracking of day-to-day project tasks
  • Risk Management - mitigation and risk avoidance
  • Adherence of technical and economical parameters
  • Knowledge management

Communication and Organization

  • Coordinate and provide training sessions
  • Excellent and accurate oral and written communication skills

Project Documentation

  • Abide by GCDS Project Management Organization processes and procedures
  • Expert in Client Data Consolidation Requirements for customer reporting
  • Expert in GCDS products for crisis and management information reporting
  • Accountable for project deadlines and deliverable for GCDS projects
  • Facilitate and attend meetings/conference calls with internal and external clients
  • Coordinate collection and distribution of required implementation data
  • Identify potential risks associated with projects
  • Leverage Global resources as necessary
  • Manage and deliver clear and concise communications related to project work
  • Identify and communicate elements which are in and or out of scope for department projects
  • Interact with internal technology teams on a regional and or Global level
  • Monitor project cost for budget and time tracking
  • Planning and executing complex multi-departmental projects with internal and external stakeholders
